Three Playful Card Designs Created with the Hero Arts Coney Club Collection

Never have I ever thought I would make hot dog cards… but here we are! When I saw the new Hero Arts Coney Club Collection, I couldn’t resist creating with it. These cards were completely outside my usual crafting style, but they ended up being some of the most fun cards I’ve made in a long time.

The best part? All three cards show how you can create a variety of designs using just a few coordinating products.

Card 1: Hot Diggity Dog It’s Your Birthday!

This birthday card features a simple repetitive stamping technique that creates a fun custom background in just minutes. To keep your stamped rows evenly spaced, try cutting a strip of cardstock and using it as a guide between each row.

Card Dimensions

• Raven Card Base Layer: 4¼” x 5½”
• White Layer: 4⅛” x 5⅜”
• Pomegranate Layer: 4″ x 5¼”
• Raven Sentiment Layer: 1⅞” x 1⅛”
• White Sentiment Layer: 1¾” x 1″

Card 2: Many Franks Thank You

For this thank you card, I used the same repetitive stamping concept but switched to a random pattern for a more playful look. The added coloring brings the hot dogs to life and creates a cheerful card perfect for showing appreciation.

Card 3: We Condiment Each Other

This card combines stenciling with simple coloring to create a playful background of ketchup and mustard. It’s a perfect card for a spouse, friend, teammate, or anyone who complements your life.
