Today I’m sharing five new projects featuring the Spellbinders House‑Mouse Holiday Dreams Collection — a delightful mix of designs that celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Each image in this collection captures the charm and whimsy that make House‑Mouse Designs so beloved. You can even repurpose some for Easter or birthdays!

As you probably know by now, I adore House‑Mouse. These little characters always bring a smile and a touch of cozy nostalgia to my craft table.

Candy Corn Kisses

Handmade Halloween card featuring mice in dragon costume and candy corn — Candy Corn Kisses – House‑Mouse Halloween Dragon card

For my first project, I used the House‑Mouse Halloween Dragon set. The tiny dragon costume was just too cute to resist!

I stamped the image with Memento Black ink (any alcohol‑marker‑friendly ink works) and colored it using Olo Markers. Then I die‑cut the image with Hero Arts Nesting Postage Stamps.

For the background, I used Violet Colorwheel cardstock and the Spiderweb Backgrounds BetterPress Plate from Spellbinders, hot‑foiled with Prism foil using the Glimmer System. I layered it with Raven cardstock for a thin border and mounted everything on Silver cardstock for a polished A2 base.

A few foam squares added dimension behind the image — and just like that, this playful Halloween card was ready to send a sweet note.

Happy Thanksgiving

Next up is the Thanksgiving design — a cozy scene perfect for fall. I colored my image to look like pumpkin pie, but you could easily change the colors for a birthday or other celebration.

Using the Bow & Bell Scallop Frame, I layered white, brown, and orange frames for a stitched, rounded look. The background is green cardstock embossed with the Shady Leaves folder, brushed lightly with Gold Pigment Ink for a soft shimmer.

After trimming and edging the sentiment with gold pigment ink, I assembled all the layers and adhered them to the card base. The result is warm, festive, and full of seasonal charm.

Holiday Dreams

This design reminds me of Christmas Eve — that magical moment before morning arrives.

I stamped and colored the image, then added a gold‑foiled border using the Seed Co. Boarded Press & Foil Plate and Gold Glimmer Foil. I recommend foiling first, then stamping and coloring for easier alignment.

The image was mounted on kraft cardstock, and the sentiment backed with gold foil to tie everything together. A few foam squares gave the sentiment subtle lift and balance.

Sweet Twist

This adorable design features a mouse tucked inside a stocking, enjoying a holiday treat.

After stamping and coloring, I embossed the piece with the Ornate Molded Frame folder using my Platinum 6. I skipped misting the cardstock to protect the coloring, then trimmed along the embossed edges and layered it on red foil cardstock. The sentiment was backed with the same foil for a cohesive finish.

Sending Peace

For my final project, I created a shaped card using Spellbinders Stylish Ovals. I cut and layered white, blue, and colored ovals, then built an A2 card base by cutting just outside the fold line to preserve the hinge.

Once assembled, the layers formed a smooth oval shape — perfect for this peaceful holiday design.
