Day Four was all about the ghosts! These die cuts are so playful, and I wanted the design to reflect that lighthearted spirit.
I reached into my patterned paper stash again for the background (I keep my holiday papers sorted by season so they’re easy to grab). The ghosts include a second layer die, which adds instant dimension. For these, I repurposed scraps from my Day Two ink-blended Black Soot panel. Each ghost detail was cut from coordinating scraps, making this a great stash-busting project.
For the sentiment, I returned to the Craftoween stamp set, and to give it a unique wavy shape, I used the Embossed Wavy Edge Die from Kat Scrappiness. Since the die was larger than I needed, I cut one side at a time to get the perfect size.
This card came together quickly—mostly die cutting and assembling—but has a fun, whimsical finish.
